Start with the exam blueprint
Every certification exam publishes a blueprint describing what is tested and how heavily each area is weighted. Read it before you buy any study material, because it tells you where your time is worth spending.
Three things to check first
The number of questions and the time allowed
Whether the exam is scored as a whole or by section
How many times you may retake it, and after how long
Most of this appears in the official candidate handbook, which is free and usually overlooked.
Preparation is not about studying longer. It is about studying the right things in the right order.
